OUR HISTORY

Pusat Jagaan Anak-anak Yatim Ummu Sofiah was build on the donated land use by the late Haji Isa bin Bakar who is father’s to principal of this orphanage, Abdul Karim bin Mohd Isa and his family.

On the earlier establishing in 2001, these orphanages only have 10 orphans’ children. All expending and administration inclusive education, foods, clothes and others are supporting by principal family and public donating.

These orphanage only have 1 unite of house where principal and family live together with orphan children. Now, the totals of orphan children are increasing to forty people and have upgrading unite of building for orphan children facilities. Although, needs and facilities still not enough.

INTRODUCTION

On the realization of the important knowledge to the future generation, we know that most of children around us have a potential to become success but they don’t have a chance or way to achieve especially orphan children whose parents or one of the parents were dead and poor living. They are also lack of love from their parents and maybe their parents fail to take proper care of his sons or daughters. It is a big problem where these children will be neglect with no attention from everyone.

We, as a concern people we should give a chance to them to find, learn, and understand the knowledge and become somebody in life. So, many of orphanage building should be construct to make it real. Here we can group all these children in one building for easy in caring all the welfare of them.

Thanks to god, with a combination of mine from any side and authorities, hence Pusat Jagaan Anak-anak Yatim Ummu Sofiah bring into existence.

Pusat Jagaan Anak-anak Yatim Ummu Sofiah was registered under Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Negeri Perak on 28th August 2008. This orphanage is one of the welfare institutions which responsible to handle welfare matter of orphan children especially in Larut Matang & Selama district.

MISION

• To produce younger generations to be somebody in future that fulfills current economic needed with enough knowledge, good attitude in discipline and “rohaniah” to help religious, race and country.

• To prevent some social problems among orphan children and train them to improve their self with giving enough education, food, clothes and love.

OBJECTIVES

• Responsible and trust in giving refuge, educate and train orphan children without neglect any matters in Children Act 2001 and Orphanage Act 1993.

• Helping in financial, morale and love to prevent them fill excluded from society in fact they are our responsibility.

• Train them to help, caring, loving and consider each other in society, living follow the civilization.

• Train them in appreciating the love and caring giving while it would be applying by each other and will create a small group between them to live harmony and loving.

• Expose them to one method of combination knowledge and education without separately.

• Train them to have self confident to make self balance in traverse a challenging life.

• Creative and innovative in qualify our self to help to realize ‘hadhari’ society in real life.

• Help them safe from torture, desecration, rape and something like that with referring to Society Welfare Department.

CONCLUSION

Hopefully the ambition to upgrade this orphanage as one of the success education institution is implemented. Hopefully this orphanage will produce persons who are willing to help, share and teach another people to improve their self to become someone and fulfill the current economic needed straightaway improving their self, and economic of country.

To achieve our dream, hence our orphanage need some donating and helping in anyway whether in advise, energy, money, material and others to implement the needed of Pusat Jagaan Anak-anak Yatim Ummu Sofiah.

So that, we invite all the people to donate in giving any else that will give a benefit to our orphanage to our orphan children whether entrepreneur group, public people, government staff, private staff, corporate groups and others together each other to develop and improve our orphanage for helping orphan children.

We constancy do not disappointed all the donators donating to our orphanage with ensuring our orphan children attempt to improve their self in any field they join.

Hopefully our objectives will get support from many of people. We hope our people will open their heart to help us in giving some donation in anyway and always go on only for helping our orphan children. Hopefully God bless you.
